Dear ##firstname##,

He has one of the most recognisable voices of all time. He is the founding member of group that dominated music charts for decades and took disco to higher planes. He is also one of the most successful songwriters ever.

Barry Gibb, surviving member of the Bee Gees, will perform at the 2013 Mission Estate Concert on February 23, 2013 in honour of his brothers and a lifetime of music.

James Erskine, Chairman of SEL, is delighted to announce Gibb will headline this massive concert, also starring American singer/songwriter Carole King (I Feel The Earth Move; It’s Too Late) and the fabulous Wellington International Ukulele Orchestra.

Loyal Mission Concert Club Members, will be able to EXCLUSIVELY secure tickets online tomorrow Friday 12 October at 10 AM with General Sales commencing 9:00am Tuesday 16 October.

Gibb’s setlist -- in tribute to the unparalleled lifetimes in music created by Barry and his brothers, Maurice and Robin -- is sure to be a magical and emotional concert experience, drawing from every era of the timeless catalogue and huge international success achieved by Barry and his brothers.

With his younger brothers, twins Robin and Maurice, Barry formed the Bee Gees. Known for his high-pitched falsetto singing voice, Gibb shares the record with John Lennon and Paul McCartney for consecutive Billboard Hot 100 Number Ones as a writer with six. The Guinness World Records lists Gibb as the second most successful songwriter in history behind Paul McCartney.

The Bee Gees' career record sales total more than 220 million ranking them among the best-selling music artists of all time. They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1997. The citation says "Only Elvis Presley, The Beatles, Michael Jackson, Garth Brooks and Paul McCartney have outsold the Bee Gees”.

Their astonishing catalogue of hits includes To Love Somebody, Massachusetts, I've Gotta Get a Message to You, I Started a Joke, Lonely Days, How Can You Mend a Broken Heart?, Jive Talkin,' Nights on Broadway, If I Can't Have You, You Should Be Dancing, Stayin' Alive, How Deep Is Your Love, Night Fever, More Than a Woman, Emotion, Too Much Heaven, Tragedy, Islands in the Stream and Spicks and Specks.

Mission Estate Chief Executive Peter Holley says: Im delighted that Barry Gibb has chosen to pay tribute to his brothers at the Mission Estate Concert. Weve been making wine here for over 160 years, and holding concerts for the last 21 years. This promises to be a memorable occasion and a very special night to remember.
